Tide Lineman JC Latham selected by Tennessee Titans with the No. 7 pick

The Crimson Tide lineman was the first Alabama player selected Thursday night in the 2024 NFL Draft.

TUSCALOOSA, AL – Former Crimson Tide offensive lineman JC Latham was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday by the Tennessee Titans.

A native of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Latham was a two-year starter for head coach Nick Saban and was a second-team All-American in 2023.

Latham started all 13 games last season at right tackle as the Tide reached the College Football Playoff semifinal, recording 41 blocks in 813 snaps as a junior.

During the 2023 campaign, Latham allowed just two sacks on 408 passes.

The Titans finished last in the AFC South last season with a 6-11 record.

Latham to begin NFL career as head coach Brian Callahan after the franchise made a head coaching change.
