Pittsburgh police say tips about men linked to a series of hate crimes outside a North Side home have helped investigators positively identify one of them.

One person was seen throwing an Israeli flag into the trash.

A man dressed in black put anti-Semitic messages on the victim’s front door and spray painted a Nazi phrase on the sidewalk.

The homeowner reported four incidents at her home on Calles Guerra Mexicana.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
