A boat robbery suspect was arrested after Florida authorities said he dressed as a woman to try to evade officers.

Glades County deputies had been investigating the theft of the boat when it was recovered in Lakeport on Wednesday, Sheriff’s Office officials said.

During the investigation, officers identified a suspect in the robbery, Joshua Kolotka, 33, and began searching the area for him.

While searching, officers watched as Kolotka left a home dressed as a woman to try to disguise himself, authorities said.

He was quickly detained and arrested on two warrants, along with charges for the theft of the boat and the theft of a John Deere Gator, authorities said.

A photo released by the sheriff’s office showed Kolotka wearing a wig and sunglasses, along with a dress and cardigan.
