Will the Dallas Cowboys draft a running back on Day 2?

The first 32 picks of the NFL draft have been revealed. On Friday in Detroit, the Dallas Cowboys and the rest of the league will complete their draft cards for Rounds 2 and 3.

The Cowboys added an additional third-round pick thanks to the trade before selecting Oklahoma tackle Tyler Guyton 29th overall on Thursday night.

Dallas’ first pick on Friday will be No. 56 overall (second round), and also the picks at Nos. 73 and 87 (third round).

The pick would not change the expectation that Elliott will rejoin the Dallas backfield in 2024, and the former All-Pro would complement and help guide an incoming rookie.
