Oak Creek native selected by Tennessee Titans with the seventh pick

Offensive tackle and Oak Creek native JC Latham was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The Titans had the seventh pick. Latham and his brothers moved to Milwaukee when he was 5 years old. He attended Oak Creek for high school and played high school football for Catholic Memorial in Waukesha. He then transferred to IMG Academy in Florida. Latham played college football at Alabama. His father said this. It was a special moment for the family. “I’m very happy and proud of this young man. He worked hard. You rarely see it, we were talking about yesterday, very rarely do you see someone go through the process and not have any setbacks,” said Jerome Latham. “We’re just blessed and very happy. The fact that this young man worked so hard. He worked hard. And now his dream is there, right in front of him. He can touch it.” Latham’s father told WISN 12 News News that it doesn’t matter where he ends up in the NFL. He said Latham is excited to have the opportunity to play on Sundays.
