Indiana State Police Try to Identify Person of Interest in I-465 Shooting Case

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police are asking the public to help them identify a person who may have been involved in an interstate shooting in February.

In a news release, state police provided two photographs of the individual they were trying to identify.


Investigators believe the person may have been involved in a shooting that occurred on Interstate 465 at approximately 12:15 a.m. on February 14. Police said the shooting took place on the east side of I-465 in Indianapolis, near Pendleton Pike.

Anyone with information about the person is urged to contact the Indiana State Police at (317) 899-8577. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262-8477.

Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana also accepts tips through the P3tips mobile app or at www.CrimeTips.org. Anonymous tips that lead to felony arrests may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
