CLEVELAND, Ohio — The traffic landscape continues to change as highway construction projects move forward in Northeast Ohio.

Will your trip be affected this week? The Ohio Department of Transportation has released its lists of upcoming detours for Cuyahoga County and other areas of Greater Cleveland.

US 6 (Chardon Rd.) between Newcome Street and Chestnut Lane in Richmond Heights will have several lane restrictions beginning May 7 and continuing through August for repaving.

Interstate 71 between Ridge Road and the George V. Voinovich Innerbelt Bridge will have several off-peak lane restrictions starting May 6 for repaving. The project is expected to be completed in October.

I-90 eastbound, just east of Columbia Road You now have a two-way traffic pattern. This will continue until July while the bridge deck is replaced. All lanes of traffic are maintained, but there will be one lane of eastbound traffic on the west side of I-90 separated by a concrete barrier. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained on the east side.

I-480 westbound to Ohio 237 will have nightly closures between 9 pm and 6 am for resurfacing starting May 1 and ending May 7. The detour is Clague Road to Brookpark Road to Ohio 237.

I-71 northbound to I-480 westbound will have nightly closures between 9 pm and 6 am for resurfacing starting May 1 and ending May 7. The detour is eastbound I-480 to Tiedeman Road and then westbound I-480.

I-480 westbound on Northfield Road will have several lane restrictions starting May 10 and continuing through the end of May.

I-480 under Great Northern Boulevard will have several nighttime lane restrictions starting Monday and continuing through the end of June.

US 422 westbound to Mumford Road northbound It is closed to truck traffic until the end of May to replace the culvert. The detour is Main Market Road to Claridon Troy Road to Tavern Road.

Ohio 162, just east of Burdett Road, will close May 6 for culvert replacement. The detour is Ohio 162 east to Ohio 94 north to Ohio 18 east to I-77 south to Ohio 21 south to Ohio 162, and vice versa. Estimated completion is May 10.
